Alfred Kropp The Thirteenth Skull By Rick Yancy
Max Van Sickle
This week I read the third book in the Alfred Kropp series. Like a lot of books the first one in the series started out pretty slow but by the time that i finished it. I ordered my mom to get the next one. These books are very good for people that like the Alex Rider series. It has the same action feel but in my humble opinion THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER. The first book has 339 pages the second book has 352 pages and the third book has 304 pages. I would say that the reading level is probably between medium and medium and a half.
In the book I read this week Alfred Kropp is trying to stop his former nemesis's son from literally ripping apart the very fabric of the universe and destroying all of time as we know it. Just as Alfred is close to becoming friends with the new Operative Nine who's name is Nueve (haha) he learns that the old OP. Nine put a small bomb inside his head, and the new OP Nine is planning to detonate it, Because of Sofia, but who or what is Sofia, that very question might lead to Alfred Kropp's doom.
I absolutely Love this series, because it has a story line that you don't really understand until the end of all three books. I don't know why but that kind of thing really pulls me in .
The next book on my list is Forgive me Lenard Peacock (I know i said it last time but i forgot to tell my mom to get it from the library)

I love Alex Rider so I will definitely give this a try. I already finished Forgive Me Leonard Peacock which was my book for this week. It is a awesome story that I think you will like. Make sure to read the inside cover first I think it is key to the book. I have the class copy so I can bring it to you on monday if you want.
ReplyDeleteI've never read the Alex rider series, but his description makes me want to read the "SO MUC BETTER" alfred Kropp series. Nice touch of humor there.
